The Fosterton Loop Ride

Distance - 22km
Grade - Just get out there!
Starts at - The Dungog Tourist Information Centre
Time - Saturday 9.30am

This is the traditional fun ride to kick off Pedalfest!

NOTE: Riders under 14yrs of age MUST be accompanied by a cycling adult on all rides.

Off We Go!
Starting with a parade through town we pedal off in a Northerly direction out of Dungog over the railway and Williams River (be careful crossing the plank bridge!).
A couple of kilometres out of town we turn left onto the Fosterton Road toward Dingadee. Don't worry, the friendly folk from the SES will make sure you don't miss the turn! Enjoy the ride through the gently undulating valley past Tarcoola up to the Fosterton Bridge where there is a rest stop. Free refreshments (muffins!) are available and if it is a hot day, a dip in the river can add to the fun.

After you have been revived, head off across the plank bridge (careful now!) and cruise back to Dungog for lunch. Remember to take care when you turn right at the T Junction just outside Dungog where we rejoin the main road.
